Years before Montenica, someone in our family slipped on a polished tile and had a stroke. Nobody had told them a floor finish was a decision they could have made. You've met those clients, the ones who find out what you do after they needed you.

No designer in their right mind puts a tile like that where an older person lives, but the family never knew that was a decision someone could have made for them. That is what sent our founder into architecture, then interior design. It was never about how a room looks, but what it does to the people in it, and how many never find out the profession that could have helped them.
