Onboarding for Q4 2026

How It Works

Seven weeks, and no guessing what's next

You'll join four meetings, all dated in Week 1. Everything in between is ours, including the bits you'd usually end up doing.

01. Onboarding. Week 1

What for: positioning built from what your clients actually wrote to you.
Your role: your approver and the enquiry emails, the awkward ones included. We fill the form together.
Our role: 120 minutes on the form together, starting from what we already know. Approve it within 3 Business Days.

01. Onboarding. Week 1

What for: we get inside your clients’ world before we design anything, so the brand speaks to the people who actually pay you.
Your role: bring your approver, your enquiry emails and your materials. We send the completed brief back and you approve it within 3 Business Days.
Our role: 120 minutes working through the Briefing Form with you, in your words. Then your portal opens and every meeting date is locked.

Your role: bring your approver, your enquiry emails and your materials. We send the completed brief back and you approve it within 3 Business Days.
Our role: 120 minutes working through the Briefing Form with you, in your words. Then your portal opens and every meeting date is locked.

02. Creative Brief and Moodboard. Week 2

What for: the direction written down once, so nobody designs from a hunch again.
Your role: a quiet week. If something needs checking, we'll email.
Our role: we build the brief and Moodboard from your briefing, and send them ahead so you can take your time with them.

02. Creative Brief and Moodboard. Week 2

What for: one clear direction, written down, that the whole system is built from and judged against.
Your role: a quiet week. If we need to clarify something, a reply within 3 Business Days.
Our role: turn your briefing into the Creative Brief and Moodboard, sent ahead of the meeting so you can read them at your own pace.

Our role: turn your briefing into the Creative Brief and Moodboard, sent ahead of the meeting so you can read them at your own pace.

03. Creative Brief Meeting. Week 3

What for: you say yes to the direction before anything's designed.
Your role: read it beforehand, then 90 minutes to sign it off.
Our role: we present it, adjust it with you, and speak up if a change weakens your positioning. Confirmed in writing within 3 Business Days.

03. Creative Brief Meeting. Week 3

What for: you approve the direction before a single element is designed, so the reveal holds no surprises about where it is going.
Your role: read it beforehand, your approver in the room for 90 minutes, and sign it off.
Our role: present it, adjust it with you in the room, and confirm the approved version in writing within 3 Business Days.

04. System creation. Weeks 4 to 5

What for: one finished system, judged whole, like your clients will.
Your role: nothing to review, and yes, that feels odd. On the split, the 30% clears before the reveal.
Our role: everything built from your approved brief. No sneak peeks, half-built work never gets a fair look.

04. System creation. Weeks 4 to 5

What for: one resolved system you can judge whole, the way your own clients will judge it.
Your role: nothing to review. If you chose the split, the 30% clears before the reveal.
Our role: build the full system from the brief you approved. You will not see fragments, because a half-built piece judged against a finished standard never reads fairly.

05. Brand Reveal Presentation. Week 6

What for: your studio looking the way you always knew it should, and why.
Your role: 60 minutes with your approver, then 3 Business Days for changes.
Our role: we walk you through all of it, then two refinement rounds inside the brief, each back within 5 Business Days.

05. Brand Reveal Presentation. Week 6

What for: you see your studio the way it should have read all along, and the thinking behind every choice.
Your role: 60 minutes with your approver, then 3 Business Days for refinement requests.
Our role: walk you through the whole system, then two rounds of refinements inside the brief, each back within 5 Business Days.

06. Delivery and training. Week 7

Your role: final approval and payment, then your whole team at the training.
Our role: your Final Delivery Folder within 5 Business Days, intellectual property yours, and training inside the real files, recorded for whoever joins next.

06. Delivery and training. Week 7

What for: a brand your team can run on day one without asking you.
Your role: final approval, final payment, and your whole team in the room for the 90-minute training.
Our role: your Final Delivery Folder within 5 Business Days with the intellectual property assigned to you, and the training recorded so every future hire learns it the same way.

Your role: run it, and email us when something isn't clear.
Our role: email support for 30 Business Days, then a 60-minute review at day 60 to see how your inbox has changed. Nothing sold in it.

07. After delivery. Days 1 to 90

What for: the system settles into how your studio actually works, with us still within reach.
Your role: put it to use, email us when something is not clear, and join the 60-minute review at day 60.

What You Take Away

Everything your studio takes home

What's in the folder, what it takes off your plate, and how you pay for it.

What You Take Away

Everything your studio walks away with, and what it costs

The Brand Identity System on the left. The optional Add-On on the right.

Strategic Identity Foundation. Your positioning, plus one page on the client who pays you, so every call stops starting with an explanation.

Logo Architecture. A mark for every job, so your logo works as a profile picture and on a dark render without anyone improvising.

Colour Architecture. Every colour with a job, previewed on real interiors and matched for print, so nobody's choosing in the moment.

Typography System. Type set for screen and print, with notes a freelancer follows, so the deck stops looking like a different studio.

Brand Behaviours. How the brand acts across a project, from first enquiry through to handover.

Visual and Material Language. The materials and tonal world of your projects, written down so the brand looks like the finished work.

Applied Previews. Your brand on a story, a proposal cover, an email signature and a homepage mockup, so nobody has to imagine it.

Brand and Content Syntax. Plain words for homeowners, technical ones for developers, and prompt formulas your junior finally sounds like you.

Brand Guidelines. The reference your team checks when they're unsure, so the question stops reaching you.

Templates and Implementation Playbook. Templates, replies to your leads' three biggest objections, a one-page process map, and a guide to the three places a brand slips in month one.

Brand Implementation Training. Ninety minutes live with your whole team, inside the real files.

Post-Delivery Review. Sixty minutes with us once the system's been in use, to see what's held and what hasn't.

Email Support. Questions about using the system after delivery, and we point you to the right page of it.

Investment. A$33,000 inc. GST (US$23,000), one-time. Pay it all upfront, or 70% upfront and 30% before the Brand Reveal Presentation.

One refinement round inside the Approved Briefing, after the Week 4 presentation.

Launch and handover with a written report of what was applied where, and your credentials deleted.

FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

So you know exactly what's happening from now on.

What do we actually get at the end?

One system in one folder: positioning, logo, colour, type, brand behaviours, material language, applied previews with a homepage mockup, your Brand and Content Syntax, guidelines, templates, an enquiry-reply pack, a process map and the Implementation Playbook. Your team's trained on all of it before we step back, so the folder gets opened every week.

How long does it take, and when do you need us?

About seven weeks, with every meeting date locked in Week 1. We brief together in Week 1, you approve the direction in Week 3, you see the finished system in Week 6, and your team's trained in Week 7. Approvals sit at 3 Business Days.

Why don’t we see the logo until Week 6?

Because a half-built piece judged against a finished standard looks like a failure when it's only halfway there. You approve the direction in Week 3, then see the whole system in Week 6 the way your own clients will, with two refinement rounds after.

What if we don’t like what you present?

The reveal is built from a direction you already signed off in Week 3, and two refinement rounds sit inside that brief. If you stop entirely, you pay for the stage reached, from 15% before the brief's approved up to 90% after the reveal, and anything you've paid above that comes back within 14 Business Days. From the approved brief onward, the work from that stage is yours, intellectual property included.

Who owns the work, and can we change it later?

You do, in full, on final payment, with signed moral rights consents from everyone who worked on it and a timestamped Certificate of Prior Existence, so your right to change it is real and your authorship is on record. Trade mark registration stays your decision, and we run a preliminary search on the wordmark before the reveal, tell you what we find, and hand you a plain-English guide to filing.

How does payment work?

A$33,000 inc. GST, either in full upfront or 70% before we start and 30% before the reveal. Studios outside Australia pay US$23,000 with no GST, same split, and the amount on your invoice is fixed for the whole engagement. If you commit to the Content Direction System or Content Creation Execution within 90 days of delivery, an Early Commitment Credit of A$2,500 inc. GST comes off that engagement, one per engagement, never as cash.

What is the Brand Implementation Add-On?

The rollout, done by the people who built the brand. A five-page Framer website built from your approved homepage, with migration, your brand across Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and Pinterest, email signatures for your full team, and a Canva proposal template your team edits without Adobe. Five weeks, A$16,500 inc. GST (US$11,500), under its own agreement.

Do we have to take the Add-On?

No. It's optional and sits under its own agreement. If you'd rather your own developer handled the rollout, the Implementation Playbook that comes with your Brand Identity System is written to brief them.

In writing, within 90 days of your Final Delivery Folder. After that, website work becomes a separate service at separate pricing. It's paid in full before we start, and no credits apply to it.

It Started With A Floor

Years before Montenica, someone in our family slipped on a polished tile and had a stroke. Nobody had told them a floor finish was a decision they could have made. You've met those clients, the ones who find out what you do after they needed you.

We Know Your Why

It Started With A Floor

Years before Montenica, someone in our family slipped on a tile and had a stroke. No designer in their right mind puts a tile like that where an older person lives, but the family never knew that was a decision someone could have made for them. That is what sent our founder into architecture, then interior design. It was never about how a room looks, but what it does to the people in it, and how many never find out the profession that could have helped them.

So She Went And Learnt It

That's what sent our founder into architecture and interior design. As you know, aesthetics matter, but they won't sustain a project on their own. It also takes how people behave inside the space, which is the part your clients rarely know to ask about.

Then We Saw It In Your Field

Inside studios, the same gap. The ones doing genuinely good work kept losing to weaker ones, and it was never the design. The better studio just couldn't get the right clients to see what it was. You've probably lost a job like that and never found out why.

That's What Pulled Us Into Marketing

Someone has to close the distance between how good your work is and how the market reads it. We both know attention costs more every year, and you shouldn't have to spend your credibility dancing on social media to get any. So we built the other way.

Eight Years Of This, Seven Countries

For studios some twenty-five years into their craft, and we're still doing it. Long enough to know your process, your suppliers, and what your clients ask before they call you. Narrow enough that we're not learning your field on your budget.
